Hi there!
I am a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker, producer, and editor specialized in socially conscious, human-centered storytelling. The daughter of Vietnamese refugees, I am drawn to stories that explore identity, justice, health, and hope. I approach every project with curiosity, care, and collaboration—listening for story and leading with empathy.
With over a decade of experience across documentary film, branded content, and social impact communications, I collaborate with nonprofits, advocacy groups, and Fortune 500 companies to bring meaningful stories to life. My recent films spotlight AAPI stories, including A Slice of Home, a documentary short film currently on the film festival circuit about a baker, and Miles to Go Before She Sleeps, an award-winning feature documentary about China’s dog meat trade.
I hold a Master of Public Health with a graduate certificate in documentary filmmaking from George Washington University and graduated cum laude from UC Berkeley. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me traveling, flying my drone, or cuddling my dog, Sonny.
